They are handmade from sterling silver and the plique-a-jour enamel technique which creates a stained glass effect when held up to the light

Keum boo earrings sea bird These circle stud earrings areThese unique earrings have been created using reticulated silver and keum boo technique of applying gold foil to silver. Reticulated silver is created when sterling silver is heated to bring the fine silver to the surface and it creates an uneven surface. A very fine layer of gold foil is applied to parts of the surface, I have then applied a patina to create the black colour which is a wonderful contrast with the gold. These then hang from sterling
