Autumnal Tones 1, Original pastel drawing series of 3 Material : pastel with paper collage on Fabriano paper:none I often find that plants/flowers/reedsI often walk in the fields around my home and pick flowers and leaves etc that are on the cusp of decay and then press them after bringing them back to my studio. This way I make the beautiful and ageing flowers and leaves go from being ordinary and about to disappear into something extraordinary and their memory lives on.
